New Signature Flavour "Chocolate Tango"!!


I'm such a big fan of the show "Cupcake Wars", that it inspired me to get experimental and think of new combinations and new flavors. This is a twist on a typical chocolate cake, that I like to call "Chocolate Tango"

It's a light chocolate cake, filled with a coffee scented chocolate ganache and topped with a chocolate orange buttercream. I made the buttercream with real orange zest and orange juice so nothing fake here.

Pure fresh tasty goodness!

The Perfect Red Velvet Cupcake



This cupcake was an extra from my baby shower order, and I was taking shots of it with my Instagram. And the photo came out looking perfect and tantalizing. So I couldn't resist putting it up on here.

Neutral Coloured Wedding Minis




I thought to Instagram my cupcakes photos and the look turned out old school vintage!

I made these minis over the weekend for a wedding at the Grand Copthorn Orchid. There were 150 minis, but 3 different flavors. 

I made my "Original Sin" topped with edible pearls, my "Southern Belle" Topped with edible gold glitter and a lemon cupcake base with a chocolate orange buttercream, topped with an edible white flower.

Pink and Blue Simple Minis



These simple minis were made for a school carnival. The school is for kid's with intellectual disabilities that's located over on Margaret Drive. I made them plain so that the kids themselves could decorate them as part of an activity. Their volunteers were very sweet to organize the fun for them. 

Flavour was chocolate with vanilla buttercream. 

Sweet Pink Baby Girl Shower Cupcakes




I made these delightfully sweet colored cupcakes at the last minute for a friend, who was organizing a baby shower. The flavor was red velvet with vanilla cream cheese frosting, and I just topped it with baby girl themed sugar decor that I bought from my local baking supply shop.

Vegan Birthday Cake and Sinful Minis






A customer requested me to bake an eggless cake for a birthday party, and 200 minis of my "Original Sin" flavour.

I went with a vegan chocolate cake, and paired it with a vanilla cream cheese frosting. The decor was kept simple, as her colours were along the cream and chocolate range. 

The minis looked so delightful that I was tempted to take a few for myself! 

Two Tier Rustic Cream Cake




A lovely friend of mine was celebrating her 21st birthday and she asked me to make her a cake. I suggested a two tier cake, with more of rustic finish and topped on the side with fresh flowers. I used baby pink carnations for this cake. 

It's been a few years since I made a 2 tier cake but the result came out better then I thought. There's always room for improvement, but it was fun to make this cake.

The flavour was a simple vanilla butter cake, with a cream and jam filling and finished off with a fluffy light vanilla buttercream. 

I should have taken better pictures before I left home, but I was in a rush to deliver! Good photo next time I promise. :)

More "Double Happiness" Cupcakes






It's been a number of years since I've made packaged "Double Happiness" cupcakes, but nevertheless I'm glad I had a chance to do it again. 

The flavour was red velvet with vanilla cream cheese frosting. And I absolutely love the new packaging my supplier now provides!
