Blue and White Cupcakes @ Orchid Club

Lemon and vanilla cupcakes were the call of a day, and I made it with a few designs in shades of white and blue. The cake was topped off beautifully with a blue hydrangea, which I think set the whole look into place.

Flowers and "Xi" Sample Box

A client approached me to make her a sample box for her potential guo da li gift boxes. She requested flowers, colours and "double happiness", so here was the end result.

Flower Theme Girly Birthday Cupcakes!

These are too cute to resist! It was chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and I used lots of tiny daisies to create a mini garden effect. Happy Belated Birthday Viv!

Wedding @ Flutes Restaurant

This chocolate and pink themed cupcakes were made in early November for a lunchtime wedding at Flutes Restaurant, located just near Fort Canning.

It was a bit of a challenge carrying the boxes up the stairs and you can't drive up there. Lucky I had a lovely taxi driver that helped me!

Garden Themed Wedding @ Goodwood Park Hotel

This has to probably be one of the most "romantic" looking cupcakes I've set up. Roses, butterflies and leaves will certainly do that to cupcakes! The bride has purple and pink roses, and cream coloured butterflies. She chose red velvet, mocha, and chocolate cupcakes as the flavours. The wedding took place during the middle of October, you can tell I'm so behind in uploads!

Wedding Anniversary Cupcakes!

These cupcakes were made for a wedding anniversary celebration at the end of October. The couple picked 6 designs and quite a few flavours. It was held at a function hall in a condo on the West Side. Pink and lilac were the main colours of the day!

ROM @ Majestic Hotel

Hello cake in a cuppers! I know it's been a massive long time since I've blogged, trust me I got lots of entries to post! I got caught up with work, I went away to the US and more work again. However I did do a little mini cupcake tour of the USA so I'll be posting pics of that soon! And I've been crazy busy with weddings nearly every weekend for the past 6 weeks or so.

I made these simple cream and pink coloured cupcakes for an ROM a little while ago. The bride is a good friend of a good friend. The simplicity of this is beautiful enough for me. As the saying goes, less is more.

Pink, Red and Cream Themed Cupcakes

These were made for a tasting session a couple of weeks ago. It's striking but softly coloured at the same time. Watch this space for the wedding photos.

Cupcakes @ Sentosa Spa and Resort

I made these tiffany blue and cream coloured cupcakes for both my besties' wedding, Sathish and Brenda. They are such a lovely couple, and the cupcakes were my wedding gift to them. They chose a coconut base paired with a vanilla buttercream. The tier was set up at the candy table, so guest could enjoy some light sweets before we enterd the ballroom for dinner. It was a touching ceremony and wonderful dinner, a great time all around! Congrats Bren and Sat, love you both!

Olive, Pink and Cream Themed Wedding Cupcakes

The three lovely lady helpers, dressed to match!

This softly coloured themed cupcakes were made for a Church wedding 3 weeks ago. The bride chose a sugee flavoured cupcake with cream cheese for the frosting. I also made a small 6 inch cake for her iced with her and her hubby's initials.

Sugee is not easy to make as it requires a lot of patience (and eggs!) but the result is a light as a feather base that is spongy and moist. For those of you who don't know, sugee cake is actually made mostly from semolina instead of the standard flour.

She chose colours of olive green, soft pink and cream, and unbeknown to me, there were 3 lady helpers from the church who kindly helped me to set up, were wearing the exact colours of the cupcakes! I think by God's grace it just happened so that we could have a bit of a laugh about it. :) Enjoy the photos.

Blue and White Themed Cuppies

These blue and white themed cuppies were made for an upcoming wedding, which I'll be baking for next weekend. Keep watching for an update!

My Very First Fondant Cake! Candies Galore!

Let me tell you I was quite nervous that day making this 2 tier fondant cake! I had never attempted a fondant covered cake before, let alone a 2 tier! But thankfully with help from the internet and some prayers, I made it through! It turned out better then I expected. The flavour was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and I then covered it in white fondant and decorated with fondant stripes and dots in pastel shades. It was for a 2 year old's birthday party, and the client requested for a lot of candy so I added on rainbow lollipops, gummy babies and jelly beans! I also topped the mini cupcakes with the same candies and some m & m's. Talk about a Candy Wonderland! :)

Cute Colourful Mini's!

A girl ordered these cuppies for a party, a mix of chocolate and vanilla. Aren't they just adorable???
