New York-esque Pink Mini Cupcakes + DISCLAIMER

These have to be my favourite mini designs so far. It was for a wedding at the M hotel, and the bride wanted a high pink swirl topped with a chocolate chip. I used a dark brown wrapper to pop out the colour more. She chose a chocolate cake base with vanilla buttercream.
This is something I have to mention to whoever is reading. The bride misplaced my tier so now it's gone. I wasn't happy about it, and she offered to pay me the cost of it.
I'm gonna write this part in CAPS so everyone can read clearly and understand.
COME JANUARY 1ST 2011, I WILL START CHARGING A RENT DEPOSIT FOR MY TIERS. A NUMBER OF PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY DAMAGED OR LOST PARTS OF MY TIERS, OR MISPLACED THEM IN THIS CASE. IT'S NOT A RISK I'M WILLING TO TAKE ANYMORE AS I SOURCE MOST OF MY DISPLAY ITEMS FROM OVERSEAS, AND THEY AREN'T EASY TO FIND AND QUITE COSTLY.
MY SMALL TIERS WILL BE CHARGED AT $50 PER PIECE, AND MY LARGER TIERS AT $100 PER PIECE. NOT TO STRESS, THESE AMOUNTS ARE FULLY REFUNDABLE ONCE MY TIERS ARE RETURNED IN GOOD AND WORKING CONDITION. THE REFUND WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN 1 TO 2 DAYS OF THE RETURN, SO PLEASE FURNISH ME WITH YOUR BANK DETAILS DURING THE PROCESS OF ORDERING YOUR CUPCAKES SO THAT I CAN TRANSFER IT BACK TO YOU VIA INTERNET BANKING.
I HAVE TO DO THIS TO PROTECT MY INVENTORY. HOPE ALL OF YOU UNDERSTAND WHERE I AM COMING FROM.

Thanks for listening!

Mini Cuppies for 1st Birthday Party

Made these little treats for an ex bride's niece's birthday party. She chose the same flavours that she did for her wedding. :) They were my "Southern Belle", "Choco Nutter" and vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream.

Chocolate and Meringue Birthday Cupcakes

Made this order of Dark Decadence, Choco Nutter and Tropical Bliss cupcakes for a simple birthday order.

K Pop Concert After Party Cupcakes!

This has to be one of the cutest and quirkiest cupcake tier set ups I've ever done! I got an email from the organiser of the K Pop concert, and she wanted these cuppies for the one of the management's birthday, and also for the artiste and crew to enjoy! I was choc full of orders that day but it was an order I couldn't say no to!
She chose my Aztec Gold, coconut cake with vanilla buttercream, and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Decor wise, she wanted my skulls, Tiffany Collection and Minnie Mouse design! The ears were giant chocolate buttons by Cadbury. ;)
The location of the after party was Sarang restaurant at Orchard Central. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet any of the artistes as they weren't there yet. But, the organiser told me that no one is allowed to take casual photos of them and paste them online. Orders from their management!
Was hoping I could get a pic of them biting into my cupcakes...
Oh well...but still the ooh's and aah's from the restaurant staff were enough to make me feel good.
Sarangheyo!

Another East Coast Church Wedding

This is another similar themed cupcake wedding as the previous post, but they had a mix of green, pink and cream and there was alternate decor of sugar flowers and silver beads.
Flavours they chose were lemon cake with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla cake with chocolate orange buttercream. They also requested sugar hearts with their initials.
P.S. The cake was not made by me, it was a last minute addition when I arrived to set up.

Cupcake Wedding @ Raffles Town Club

I made these lovely pastel shade cupcakes over the 2nd last weekend of October, and boy that was a hot week for cupcakes!
She ordered vanilla, lemon and nutella cupcakes (new flavour)! I didn't have a chance to try it but it sure smelled good. I wanna try it with a nutella based buttercream soon.
The bride and groom requested for this colour themed, accented with similar coloured small flowers for decor and white heart's with their initials "Q" on it.

Garden Coloured Wedding Cupcakes in KL

It was my dear friend Min Jee's wedding last weekend, and I promised her that I would make her wedding cuppies. :)
I recommended red velvet and tiramisu as the flavours, and she asked for colours of cream, yam and soft green. She wanted to just have different swirl shapes, and keep the focus on the colours.
This was my 2nd wedding in KL.

Seashell Themed Cupcakes

I made these order for a 20 10 2010 wedding. ;) They wanted a seashell theme, so I recommended using belgian chocolates in sea shell shapes for the decor. Simple but cute!
I know the box looks kinda messy, but I was putting on the white chocolate ganache while the cakes were in the box. So this will hold the cup shape and it can harden nicely.
The cake flavours were lemon and vanilla.

Bright Coloured Party Minis

A friend of friend requested mini cupcakes for a Shanghai themed party, so I got inspired by Shanghai Tang colours. Hence I used bright pink, green, blue and yellow and topped them with gold glitter. The flavour was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.

Google and a Baby Boy!

A previous client of mine ordered these for his boss, who's expecting a baby boy. He also works at Google, so hence they requested the google colours!
They chose chocolate, vanilla, and mocha as the cake and icing flavours.
