Rainbow Glitter Birthday Cupcakes!

Emma looking excitedly at her cupcakes :)

Her school friends seemed to like it too

Posing with her beautiful mummy

A few days ago, it was my niece Emma's 3rd birthday. My 2nd cousins asked me if I could bake for her party, and I gladly obliged!

It was originally suppose to be Elmo cupcakes, but due to time constraints as I was away over the weekend, I recommended to bake a simple pink rainbow glitter version instead.

The flavour was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and all the little kids seemed to enjoy it. But the biggest joy was seeing Emma's face light up when she saw the cupcakes. It was absolutely priceless. :)

Baby Boy Shower Mini Cuppies

These cute minis were made at the last minute for a baby boy shower party. I just bought some royal icing toppers from a store, and topped it for an adorable effect. :)

Mini "Tiffany" Tower

This "Tiffany" inspired tower was created for a wedding at the Amara Hotel in Tanjong Pagar a couple of weeks ago.

The flavour was vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream.

Glittery Fuschia and Purple Minis

These mini's were made for a purple and fuschia themed bachelorette party. :)

Introducing....."Original Sin!"

Ladies and Gentlemen, this has to be THE best cupcake I have ever made. Even my friends and family said so! So this is my new flavour that will be added to the menu, that is called "Original Sin".

It's a chocolate guinness cupcake, with a chocolate ganache and topped with Bailey's buttercream. I swear it's total heaven in a wrapper.

Try it soon! ;)

60th Birthday Cupcakes

I made these special cupcakes for a special 60th birthday party. My customer Rachel requested the "peaches" for her father in law's birthday. In Chinese tradition, you have to order the large "peach" when you turn 60, 70 and so on as it represents longevity. So I made the mini versions for cupcakes!

It took me quite a while but the result was worth it. The pink came our darker then what I preferred, but overall the effect was still there. The flavour was red velvet with a vanilla buttercream.

Pink and White High Heel Cupcakes

I was asked to make these high heel cupcakes for a girly type of event. I first attempted a fondant heel, but failed miserably. I didn't have the right tools and I needed more time, so hopefully I can churn those out in future.

However, a good idea hit me so I just made these high heel shapes from royal icing. I added some glitter dust and silver balls on and walah, instant high heel shapes! The flavour of the cupcakes was chocolate with vanilla buttercream.

Blue Whale Cupcakes!

Sorry it's been so long Cake in a Cuppers! I have a bad habit of uploading everything at once, once every couple of months. Will try to be more regular in future.

I made these to die for cute whale cuppies for a birthday gift. My customer gave me a picture, and I just copied the design. The whole look is too adorable!

Blue & White Full Moon Party Treats

An old friend of mine booked me back in May for her son's full party in September. Thank the Lord she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who's healthy and so cute!

She requested a blue and white theme, so I made red velvet cupcake in blue and white colours and she put her own toppers on them. She also requested my cupcake shaped cookies in blue and white colours, and I iced her son's name on them.

Thanks for the support Mama Su! Love you!

Basketball Team Cupcakes

Basketball Team Logo

Charlie with his jersey "cupcake" number

These cupcakes were made on request by my boyfriend. :) He plays basketball with some friends semi professionally, and their team is called the Dunk n Donuts. Kinda cheesy but cute name!

Anyways their team mate Charlie (pictured above with his jersey number) has left for Boston, so they had a going away party for him and asked me to make cupcakes in the team colours. That was lemon cake with cream cheese frosting.

An extra request was for my chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.

Pink and Lime Green Cupcake Pots

Hello October! Can't believe the near is nearing to the end so quickly again. Nevertheless, the cupcakes are still coming. :)

Made this lovely pink and lime green pot combo a couple of weeks ago. Flavour was red velvet, and my client requested pink roses and pink hydrangeas.

I took the first couple of photos in natural light, but it didn't show the green properly, so the last pic I took inside which shows what the actual colour looks like. Pretty isn't it? This is one of my favourite colour combos for a party.

"Boobie" Birthday Cake!

A friend of mine requested boob cakes for his sister's friend's birthday so here is the result! It was quite fun to make them, and I'm happy to venture out into making novelty cakes besides cupcakes. I'm quite okay with things like this on a small level, but I love a challenge so bring it on and I'm happy to make it.

Btw, this was my first time making a boob cake. It's a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.

P.S. I've had a couple of people that made negative comments about my "penis" cupcakes. Look, these are just cakes on request and people order these novelty designs for a laugh. Same with this boob cake, there is not intention to offend or gross you out. See it from the funny side!

Multi Coloured Rainbow Cupcakes

The same customer that ordered the "Stitch" cupcakes also requested my rainbow cupcakes and she wanted multi coloured toppings.

It takes a while to make the rainbow cakes, but it's so worth it coz once you slice it open, it's just such a pretty sight to see all the colours.

Flavour was vanilla cake, and topping was a mix of vanilla buttercream, lemon buttercream and vanilla cream cheese frosting. I topped it with edible gold glitter, and rainbow sprinkles.

"Stitch" Birthday Cupcakes

My customer requested "Stitch" themed cupcakes for her niece's birthday. She gave me an image to copy and I did my bestest to recreate it. I couldn't find long biscuits for the ears, so I used jelly candies instead.

"Vintage" Cupcake Pot

I made this vintage looking cupcake pot over the weekend. I had done similar designs before last year for a wedding, and my customer requested the same for her wedding but in a pot design.

There were more cupcakes like this in the same design, but all boxed up to be given away.

I added an antique gold ribbon finish the whole look off. :) She chose vanilla on vanilla for the flavour of the cupcakes.

Simple Chocolate and Vanilla "Farewell" Cupcakes

The heading describes it all.

Golf Themed Birthday Cupcakes

These golf ball babies took a long time to create! But the result turned out well. :)

Frangipani Birthday Cupcakes

Hello! I was on travels for a little while so haven't blogged for bit, but here I am again. :)

I made these birthday cupcakes back in August. Btw, the design was originally my sister's from her website www.lealalicious.blogspot.com My customer saw the design and wanted the same.

Flavour was chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.
