Sexy & Contemporary
These sexy babies were made for a client tasting session, as she wanted something contemporary and no frills for her wedding. So I came up with this design incorporating whole strawberries and raspberries, which gives it a modern look. Made my red velvet and choc raspberry flavours, which completely complemented the whole feel of the cupcakes. They look pretty succulent huh? ;)
Happy Birthday Daddy!
It was my daddy's birthday last weekend, and I made these simple chocolate cupcakes with mocha frosting for his birthday "cake". Nonetheless he was happy and so were the rest of us, so here's to you dad!

Therefore a Friday night was spent coming up with these pretty creations, it was thoroughly fun experimenting with colours and sugar decorations. Happy Moon Festival!
I went back to Klee last weekend for a family/friends Moon Festival gathering. Instead of bringing mooncakes, I brought these lovelies instead. By that point, I was already mooncaked out!
Cupcakes @ Klee!
Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Raspberry Ganache. That's Vegie, who is a vegetarian. Nuff said!
My good friend Ken and owner of Klee ask my sis and me to take part in a charity raising day for his bar. And not just to sit and enjoy the drinks, but to make them as well! Therefore, both of us needed a crash course in bartending few days before the event. I must say we are quite the amateur experts now! But also for the event, I was asked to make some cupcakes to sell towards the charity. So I brought Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting and Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Raspberry Ganache. They did pretty well I must say!
I even received a compliment that my cupcakes taste better then Magnolia Bakery in New York! For those who don't know, it's the cupcakery that Sex and the City made famous on the show. I even had a lady say my cupcakes were the best she ever had. I was quite amazed by the compliments, not to say I'm tooting my own horn or begging the question, but it makes me real happy and continues to give me more passion for my love of cupcakes. Here's to more!
