My Niece's Pink and Green Birthday Party!

Me feeding my sweetie pie Leala, she loved the icing!

My darling niece Leala turned 1 last December, and her mummy decided to throw her an unforgettable pink and green themed 1st birthday party. The party took place in Bandung at an old colonial house, which is about a 2 hour drive from Jakarta. We baked the cupcakes in Jakarta, and transported everything by car to the place.

We stuck to a simple vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, and topped it with rainbow sprinkles. My sister bought her pink and green cake toppers from an American website, and had them customised. And of course, pink and white polka dot cupcake wrappers to make it all look cuter.

The whole candy bar set up was done by my sister's in laws, and we helped out. The jars were all self bought and the candy they also bought as well. Not bad for our first candy bar set up! Of course not to forget, the cupcake cookies that I carefully brought over from Singapore. :P

I'm so happy the look came out just how my sister imagined it to be. And the darling girl was so well behaved and happy on her big day. Can't wait for her 2nd birthday! ;)

Another Baby Boy Full Moon Gift Box

I've done these designs a few times already, but thought I'd show you again. :) My client had her baby boy Kaylen in November, and December was the full moon so I made a number of boxes for her.

She also had 3 types of packaging, which I finished off with a pastel blue ribbon and my cupcake cards.

Cupcake Cookies!

Aren't these cookies the cutest things??? :) I made them last December for niece's 1st birthday party in Jakarta. Yes her "Ah Yee" prepared it in Singapore before heading there. There will be a later post on her b'day party and you can see all the treats that we had.

I made a basic vanilla cookie recipe and used vanilla royal icing and chocolate royal icing for the decor.

Christmas Cupcake Order

Here's the christmas cupcake order that I mentioned earlier. The client was Raymond Weil (the watch company), so I also added in a sugar print out of their corporate logo.

I also spray painted the boxes gold, which took quite a long process but the result was nice and appropriate for the Xmas season. :)

Mint Green, Cream and Mocha Themed Mini Cuppies

Made these soft coloured mini combinations for a wedding at the Conrad Hotel in early December. Flavours were chocolate, mocha and vanilla.

Christmas Cupcake Samplers

This post comes a little bit too late but I made these cupcake samplers for a friend in that run's an events company. His client wanted to order boxes to deliver to her clients so I made a range of Christmas designs. Happily the client was happy and ordered from me!

Luckily her orders all came in 2 weeks to a week before Christmas so I was still available. Photos to come in a later post.

Baby Blue and Brown Vegan Cupcakes

I made this striking colour combo for a friend that was ordering for a birthday. I had ran out of butter that day so I made a vegetarian version using canola oil. Perfect for something last minute, but the taste is still good!

Sweet Pastel Minis @ Furama Hotel

Hi Cake in a Cuppers! I know it's been agessss since my last post! I got real busy over the Christmas holiday period and at the moment I'm juggling 4 jobs so sometimes it get's a bit nutty on my end. Sorry if I've ever replied late to your emails, or seems like I'm not active in the cupcake circuit.

Rest assured, I'm still very much alive and still baking my babies! Boy have I got a lot to post up. :P

I made these sweet little mini's for a wedding at the Furama Hotel last November. Flavours were choco nutter, and vanilla with vanilla buttercream, from what I remember. :)

P.S. The pearls were provided by the bride's entourage.
